Dutch Van Alstin is the author of the fast-growing Life Behind Bars Book Series.

Dutch spent his whole life in the motorcycle world since his father bought him his first at nine years old. "That started the only consistent love affair that I have ever known."

Dutch has been in and out of clubhouses, both as a civilian and as a member.  "Motorcycles have been an intricate part of my life in a collective way."

Dutch has been writing fiction since he was eight years old when he pounded out stories on his parent's old Smith Corona.   His love for writing only grew more intense over time as he shares his memories through his writing, launching his first novel in 2019 titled Demons Rising: The Story of the Wayward Scout.   In 2020, Dutch launched Rebellious Youth: The Story of the Lost Child followed by his 2021 release Black River: The Story of the Broken Comedian.  Then in 2022, it will be the women's turn with a book dedicated to the women's MC world with the soon to be released "Righteous Ravens: The Story of the Roaming Gypsy"

Dutch has a master's degree from the SUNY system in New York and currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida where he writes daily.  Dutch is still active in the biker community, and has a 2009 Softail, a 2004 "Flintsone" Sporty, and a 1975 Shovelhead.
